200th Day Anniversary - Events!

Hey!

Kay here, your temp. chairperson for Prophecy. ^.~ Just wanted to provide a list of events that we will be doing on Thursday, August 14th, 2008, to celebrate our 200th day on DOMO. Apologies about this getting posted a bit late, but we were still working on getting things figured out. ^-^;; A little help is still appreciated, such as getting people to run events and help buy prizes, but overall, we're looking good. Events will be running the entire day or to be announced by the supervisor of the event. For people running the events, if you could please list what times you will be available, that would be awesome.

Anyway!

The opening will begin at roughly 12PM PST. If you don't know when that is, subtract eight hours from GMT. =] Please meet at the guild cottage! We are starting at this time because this is when we have the most guildies online. Before the opening, feel free to head over to the cottage and just chill ^.~

==Events That Will Be Going On==

Opening Ceremony: Fireworks! A parade of Pandora's Box monsters! Screeching snakes! Join in the randomness! o.o
Naked Run: Ever wanted to just feel the breeze? Well, now's your chance! Join the guild as we run throughout DOMO wearing our birthday suits! First round will be led by DoctahRocktapus, second by Kerns.
Mirror Wars: Have a ton of extra mirrors? Don't feel like duelling with your pets? Here's your chance to use up some of those mirrors! syn will be running this event, so follow his directions and.. o.o; have fun with the bashing. Five Level 20 mirrors will be used, and maps will be Swan Lake Basin and Copperhorn. If you need help getting mirrors, please let us know!
Snowball Fight: The perfect way to chill during a hot summer day. o.o Stock up on your snowballs and snowball anyone who walks into the cottage!
Secret Santa: Christmas in August? Hey, this is DOMO, why the surprise? If you wish to sign up for this, please talk to Loki-chan or Kayou before the end of August 13th (or leave a post here). All participants will be given one person whom they will present a gift worth about 8,000g to.
Scavenger Hunt: Want to run all around DOMO in search of items? Join the scavenger hunt! Items to search for will be given out every hour, with up to three being released at a time. =3 The person who brings the items to me the quickest the most times will receive first prize,
Guild Photoshoot: So we really don't have that many guild pictures. o.o Hey, that's what this event is for! The photoshoot will be going on throughout the entire day, so pose up, get ready to smile. =3
Strip Rock, Paper, Scissors: What it says. Pairs will play rock, paper, scissors, and each time you lose, you lose one article of clothing. FlameOfDesire will be running this event.
Pet Show: Want to show off your lovely pets? Come to the pet show, and you just may get hypnotized. ^.~

Potential Events ~ Depends on interest

Naked Duels: No skills, no armor, just fists and feet. Duke it out!
Pilfering!: So we have guild alchemists.. and we have thieves. =3 Let's get pilfering and get those missing recipes!

Please note that events will be running pretty much the entire day, so feel free to jump in whenever. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please talk to me in game. ^.~ If you have any more event ideas, lemme know, too, and we'll see if we can fit it in. Prizes for events include pet items, 7-day costumes, and 3-hour badges. =3
